The Canadian Lymphedema Framework Assembly 2027: Canada Connects will be held at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.



Dalhousie University provides the perfect backdrop for CLFA2027. Set in the vibrant coastal city of Halifax, Nova Scotia, the campus offers an environment that inspires meaningful connection, fresh perspectives, and forward-thinking dialogue—creating an ideal setting for open and collaborative conversations about the future of lymphedema care, research, advocacy, and community in Canada and beyond.
Where to Stay
On-campus residence accommodations have been arranged through Dalhousie University for CLFA2027 participants. Whether you are travelling on your own or sharing accommodations with friends or colleagues, the university residences provide a convenient, nearby, and affordable place to stay during the conference.
Participants can choose between Risley Hall and LeMarchant Place. We encourage you to explore both options to determine which residence best suits your preferences and accommodation needs.
Students and participants under the age of 19 are eligible for an additional accommodation discount. Complimentary parking is also included with your stay, subject to availability.
Residence bookings will open on January 15, 2027.
LeMarchant Place
LeMarchant Place is Dalhousie’s newest residence, offering a mix of fully furnished single bedroom accommodations (with adjoining shared washrooms) and two, three, or four bedroom suites with kitchenettes and in suite washrooms. Each floor offers a full communal kitchen, a lounge, and laundry facilities. All rooms and washrooms are accessible. Wireless internet is available throughout the building, and each room is equipped with air conditioning.

Risley Hall
Risley Hall is centrally located, directly behind the Student Union Building. It is a quick 1-minute walk to the Assembly location, less than 100 metres. The six-floor building offers the most economical on-campus accommodation option, with 490 single rooms. Each room is equipped with basic furnishings as well as its own sink. Risley Hall features shared, all-gender communal washrooms with full-height private stalls. Please note that this residence does not have air conditioning.
