Anna Kennedy, Editor In Chief
Anna is the Executive Director of the Canadian Lymphedema Framework. She acted as Board Director of the International Lymphoedema Framework until 2018. She is a 2012 recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal in recognition of her leadership and contributions in the lymphedema community.
Anna Towers, MD FCFP
Dr. Towers is a physician, Director of the Lymphedema Program, McGill University Health Centre, plus Associate Professor, Departments of Family Medicine and Oncology at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec.
Lori Radke, PT
Lori is a physiotherapist who has worked in Alberta for more than 25 years since graduating from the University of Alberta in 1988. She has experience with edema management and oncology. Radke started the Rehabilitation Oncology program at the Tom Baker Cancer Center in 2009. She continues to lead the program as the coordinator and actively treats patients daily.
Mei Fu, RN, PhD, FAAN
Dr. Mei Rosemary Fu is an internationally and nationally well-known nurse scientist, researcher, and educator. Currently, Dr. Fu is The Dorothy and Dale Thompson Missouri Endowed Professor in Nursing and Associate Dean for Research at University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Nursing and Health Studies in USA. Dr. Fu’s scientific focus has been on lymphedema, pain and symptoms, cancer, chronic illnesses, quality of life as well as intersections of culture, environments, climate change, and social determinants of health.
Margie McNeely, PT, PhD
Margaret (Margie) McNeely is a Professor in the Departments of Physical Therapy and Oncology at the University of Alberta, in a jointly funded position with Cancer Care Alberta. She is the Director of the Cancer Rehabilitation Research Clinic at the University of Alberta.
Her research is in the area of Impairment-based Cancer Rehabilitation, a specialty area that encompasses physical therapy and therapeutic exercise interventions to prevent or minimize the impact of cancer-related impairments including pain, fatigue and lymphedema. The overall goal of her research is to enhance the cancer survivor’s function and life participation.

Dr. David H. Keast
August 20, 1945 – August 19, 2026
Founding Member and Past Chair
The Canadian Lymphedema Framework remembers with deep gratitude Dr. David H. Keast, a founding member and long-serving leader of the CLF. David served first as Co-Chair, then as Chair and Treasurer, and most recently as Past Chair. His wisdom, clinical expertise, compassion, and steady guidance helped shape the CLF from its earliest days.
David contributed to the CLF as a Board leader, Editorial Board member, Scientific Committee member, conference speaker, author, advisor, and mentor. His lasting contributions to lymphedema awareness, education, research, and care will continue to guide our work.
