The Opening Day of the Canadian Lymphedema Framework Assembly 2027: Canada Connects
May 13, 2027 | CLFA2027 Day 1 of 3
Whether you are navigating lymphedema yourself, supporting someone you care about, providing clinical care, conducting research or simply eager to learn, LEAD Day was created with you in mind.
LEAD Day opens CLFA2027 with an Opening Plenary for registered Assembly participants, followed by the Lymphedema Learning & Resource Hub, which welcomes everyone for a free afternoon of learning, discovery and connection from 12-6 p.m.
You do not need to register for the full Assembly to visit the Hub. Come explore practical resources, products, services and new ideas; ask questions; and connect with people and organizations from across Canada’s lymphedema community.
More details coming soon.
Lymphedema Prevalence in Canada
More than 1.25 million Canadians—roughly 1 in 33 people—live with lymphedema or chronic edema. Despite its prevalence, too many people still face delayed diagnosis, limited awareness, and difficulty accessing knowledgeable care and support.
Lymphedema Education & Resource Hub helps bring information, practical tools, products, services and community resources together in one welcoming place—making them easier to discover, explore and share.
What You’ll Experience in the Hub
At the heart of Lymphedema LEAD Day is the Lymphedema Learning & Resource Hub—an expansive exhibition and discovery space bringing together an exceptional range of products, technologies, services, expertise and community resources from across Canada, all under one roof.
This is a rare opportunity to explore products and practical solutions for managing lymphedema, see demonstrations, compare options, ask questions and connect directly with the people who develop, recommend, fit, research and use them.
How Lymphedema LEAD Day is Tailored to Our Community
Whether you are living with lymphedema, supporting a loved one, providing clinical care, fitting compression garments, conducting research, educating future health professionals, shaping health policy, reporting on health issues or simply curious to learn more, you will find something here for you.
Discover Who’s Coming to the Hub
Educators, service providers, product specialists, community organizations, support groups and other contributors will come together in the Lymphedema Learning & Resource Hub to share information, resources and practical solutions.
