Mentorship plays a critical role in advancing the field of lymphedema by supporting career development, strengthening collaboration, and ensuring continuity of leadership. Drawing on reflections from a mentorship panel at the 2025 International Framework Conference, this article explores the characteristics of effective mentors, inclusive mentorship environments, and the diverse forms mentorship can take across clinical, research, community, and policy settings. Panelists and audience members highlight the value of interdisciplinary and reciprocal mentorship, as well as the importance of recognizing expertise beyond academic contexts. The article underscores mentorship and collaboration as essential strategies for building a resilient, inclusive, and sustainable future for lymphedema care.
